One of the most anticipated projects in downtown St. Louis is opening next July, and News 4 has an exclusive look at what's coming next summer.
The change that's most talked about? A new entrance.
"We're literally bringing the entrance into downtown St. Louis," Ryan McClure said. McClure is a part of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation. "The legs will become exits, so the entrance will be right in downtown; the north and south legs of the Arch."
The visitor's center will also feature a big upgrade, which will tell St. Louis' story of westward expansion.
But the biggest change? The Keystone Exhibit.
Those who do not or cannot make the trip to the top of the Arch can get the same experience back on the ground in the form of a replica observation deck.
But the best part of the project is that it will be free to the public.
