ST. LOUIS, Mo. (HockeySTL) -
Looking for some extra offensive punch after a two-game lull in the Sunshine State, the Blues will get a veteran back from injury for Wednesday night.
The club announced Alexander Steen has been activated from injured reserve after missing seven preseason games and the first six games of the regular season with a hand injury. A top six forward, Steen has compiled four straight 50 point seasons, and should help boost and offense that has managed just four goals over their last two games, which ended as losses to the Panthers and Lightning.
Wade Megan has been placed on waivers to make room for Steen on the roster. The 27-year-old Megan appeared in one game this season, and scored one goal across three NHL games last season for St. Louis.
