ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

You could call this weekend a dog-gone good time for St. Louis area pups.

Saturday morning, hundreds of dogs took to the Arch grounds for the Arch Bark. It was the first-ever pet event held on the newly-renovated Arch grounds near the Eads Bridge.

News 4 helped sponsor the free event and 4 Warn Meteorologist Meghan Danahey served as emcee.

The event included a one-mile walk, agility course and a doggy diving pool. Arch Bark was hosted by the Gateway Arch Park Foundation and Royal Canin.
