“Life is easy in St. Louis,” Buck said. “St. Louis is part of my DNA, my family’s DNA. I choose to call St. Louis my home and I hope you will too.”
Officials from the St. Louis economic partnership said recently St. Louis, St. Charles County and the Metro East will work together on their proposal to bring the retail Goliath to the region.
Amazon will be pitched on the idea of taking over two plots of land on both sides of the river.
One will be on the north riverfront, the other in East St. Louis.
Roughly 50 cities around the United States and Canada are competing.
