ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A man accused of sexually assaulting women in Tower Grove South has been arrested a month after charges against him were dropped.

John Wells, 30, is accused of being responsible for at least four sexual assaults in South City. He is charged with sodomy, sexual abuse and assault.

Wells was previously charged in connection with the assaults, but the charges were dropped in October.

A statement from the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office at the time the charges were dropped said the case remained under investigation. The statement also said the office had plans to reissue the charges as soon as possible.

Wells was arrested a second time this week.
