Police ID man killed in Fox Park neighborhood Thursday evening

SOUTH ST.LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Homicide detectives are investigating after a 33-year-old man was shot in south St. Louis Thursday night.

Police said 33-year-old Frederick Moore, of the 2800 block of South Jefferson, was found shot around 5:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Texas.

Following the shooting, Moore was taken to the hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead. 

Police have determined that Moore was shot by an unknown suspect who then fled the scene in a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
