A pair of St. Louis Police Officers, injured on duty, are getting ample support from the community.

Officers Gary Glasby and Sheena Smith's patrol car was rammed near North Broadway outside of Wedge Tire.

Now, that business is rallying behind them with a fundraiser.

"It's very important to us to have the police department on our side and we feel it's only right," said Barry Dicker of Wedge Tire. "We back the police department 100 percent."

The fundraiser is Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the upper Muny parking lot in Forest Park.

It will feature a car show with special awards, food and drinks.

All proceeds will benefit Officer Glasby and Smith's families.

One officer has returned to duty since the crash, the other has permanent injuries.
