ARNOLD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Arnold plans to have something for everybody during the eclipse weekend.

All of the festivities will be taking place at Arnold City Park. Officials believe the crowds could be very big.

The events will begin with a Farmer’s Market on Saturday and will include a petting zoo, live music, food and an emphasis on the science behind the eclipse.

“Since the Fox School District canceled school for eclipse day, we’ve teamed up with their science club. They’ll be down there at science booths to do science with the kids, activities that their teachers planned to do with them on the day of the eclipse,” said Molly Curcuru with the Arnold Parks Department.

Arnold officials say they were contacted by someone representing a group of 15 people from several nations in the Caribbean who travel from eclipse site to eclipse sight. Officials said they are coming to Arnold.
