The St. Louis County Police Department is searching for a suspect who robbed a Walgreens in South County on Tuesday.

Around 5:30 pm, a suspect entered the Walgreens at 2700 Telegraph Rd. and proceeded to walk around the business.

Police say he eventually made his way to the register with items in his hand and spoke to the clerk.

When the clerk opened the register to complete the transaction, the suspect overpowered her and stole money from the drawer.

The man ran away from the store and believed to enter a blue newer model Toyota Avalon with Missouri license plates.

The suspect is described as a white man, 40, with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a maroon t-shirt with an eagle on the front, dark jean shorts, a white hate and black rimmed glasses.
