Two men are in police custody after allegedly robbing a store in St. Peters, resisting arrest and assaulting a St. Peters Police Officer on Tuesday.
The two suspects led St. Peters Police, St. Charles County Police, and St. Charles City Police on a pursuit into St. Louis County following a robbery at a mall in St. Peters.
According to St. Peters Police, a police lieutenant suffered minor injuries when the suspects fled but did not require medical attention.
St. Ann Police were called for assistance when the pursuit led into St. Louis County and were able to safely stop the vehicle with stop sticks that were deployed on Highway 70.
The driver and passenger were then taken into custody. Numerous stolen items were found throughout the vehicle, police said.
The suspect's identities have not yet been released.
