CLAYTON (KMOV.com) -

St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger and St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson are asking Gov. Eric Greitens to change the Bi State Board of Commissioners.

"We believe this situation calls for a new perspective," Stenger told News 4.

The County Executive is referring to the strained relations between Bi-State and the county over how to police MetroLink trains.

Last month, Bi-State released photos that seemed to show a slacking of security on the part of some St. Louis County officers.

Among the nominees from Stenger are two former county police chiefs, Ron Battelle and Jerry Lee.

It will be up to Greitens to decide if he wants to replace the Bi-State board members.
