The Overland Missouri Police Department is investigating an assault on an officer and are attempting to locate the suspect.
Police are looking for Keith Dewayne Ingram, 48, who they believe is currently homeless but frequent visits the area of Page and Kingshighway.
Overland authorities reported interrupting a burglary at a home where Ingram attempted to escape in a Ford truck.
An officer attempted to remove Ingram from the vehicle to stop him from escaping, but was drug approximately 50 feet as Ingram sped off, according to police.
The officer sustained serious but non-life threatening injures.
Ingram is known to drive a White 2005 Ford 150 with Missouri license plates 7NA702.
