ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

You can get ice cream at Dairy Queen on Thursday and help a good cause at the same time.

Thursday is Miracle Treat Day. One dollar or more from every blizzard sold at local Dairy Queen stores will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

“The money stays local to the local children’s hospitals, Cardinal Glennon, Children’s Hospital. It helps kids and that’s the main thing,” said local Dairy Queen owner Darin Leonard.

Miracle Treat Day has been held for more than 10 years. In 2016, Dairy Queen stores raised more than $4 million for the charity.
