DE SOTO, Mo. (KMOV.com) – After 60 cartons of eggs were purchased at a local Walmart, several cars were egged in De Soto Thursday night.
The De Soto Police Department is encouraging those who took part in the “eggings” to “think long and hard about how much they are willing to pay or cost their parents when they are caught.”
Police officials said they are currently working on getting video and photos of the people who purchased the eggs at the Walmart.
“To avoid the embarrassment of being tracked down at home or work we encourage those responsible to turn themselves in to the De Soto Police. Its a matter of time before the video footage from Walmart is all gathered and shared. Do the right thing, lift the weight of guilt you felt when you finally laid your head down last night to sleep,” read a portion of the Facebook post from by the police department Friday morning.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the De Soto Police Department.
