Six Flags adding more cool-down options to their water park

EUREKA, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

With an excessive heat warning extended through the weekend, the St. Louis region is doing all it can to stay cool, including the local theme park.

Six Flags St. Louis is adding more water activities to offer solutions to the wave. It also helps that Six Flags has a 12-acre water park.

Six Flags will extend the operating hours of the wave pool Thursday night. This will be so guests can float in the water while watching Lego Batman at their Dive-In movie night. The Dive-In movie is free to guests.

During their Friday and Saturday hours, park attendees can partake in activities in the special CoolZone. Those activities include water balloons and water ball games. Those activities will be free to guests. The dunk tank, however, will ask guests to make a donation to the Cool Down St. Louis effort.
