NORMANDY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two suspects are at-large after crashing a stolen car into a power pole in Ferguson Wednesday.

Calverton Park officers began a car chase after they attempted to pull over a stolen car for a traffic stop. When the car did not stop, a call went out and officers from Normandy recognized the vehicle.

The Normandy officers chased the car on South Florissant, where it eventually crashed into a power pole. Following the crash, two “young men” ran from the car, police said. The suspects were last seen running down Patricia Avenue.

No power outages have been reported. Ameren officials said they have to fix the power pole because there are now active lines hanging over the roadway.

No other details have been released.
