5 shot within 2 hours overnight in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Five people were within two hours in north St. Louis overnight.

The first shooting occurred around 11:10 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Glasgow and Thomas when two men, ages 21 and 19, were waiting to meet up with two women they met online. The men said they heard shots after arriving at the meeting location. They were both taken to the hospital and listed as stable.

Just over 10 minutes later, a 23-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in the 3100 block of Sheridan. He told police he was shot somewhere on Greer Street near an unknown park. The victim was taken to the hospital and listed as critical, stable.

About an hour later, police were called to the 6300 block of Sherry for a double shooting. Police said a 60-year-old man and 36-year-old man were shot in the area. They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds. The victims reportedly did not know one another.

No other details regarding the shootings have been released.
