BRENTWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Police are looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint and aimed a weapon at a bystander.

On July 7, police said a man wearing a bandana over his face walked into a 7-Eleven in the 2400 block of South Big Bend Boulevard.

The suspect allegedly approached the clerk and ordered they empty the cash register. The clerk complied. While the robbery was occurring, a bystander walked into the store, unaware of the incident taking place.

Police said the suspect then pointed his weapon at the male victim, and demanded money from him. The victim told the suspect he did not have any money.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of money.

The male suspect is described as being between the ages of 25 and 35. He is said to have been standing between 5'11" and 6'3" with a medium-to-muscular build. He was last seen wearing a black Adidas jacket with a white stripe on it, with blue jean shorts.

Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts, or if they have seen the man, should contact Detective David Brown at 314-646-3658.
