ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The St. Charles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Regions Bank Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a man entered the Regions Bank around noon, approached the teller window and handed the teller a note demanding money.

The suspect walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and ran south on Fifth St. towards Jackson St.

A K9 dog tracked the suspect’s exit and determined it ended approximately one block south of the bank near Jackson Street.

Police said the suspect is a white man, in his mid-20s with blonde hair and a scruffy beard. The man was wearing a brown collared polo style shirt with stripes and a white baseball hat.

If you have information about the suspect contact the St. Charles Police Department at 636-949-3300.
