Extra security cameras installed at some MetroLink stops

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The City of St. Louis is putting up extra surveillance cameras near several MetroLink stations.

Cameras were installed outside the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Union Station stops on Monday.

The extra security comes after a homicide near the Union Station MetroLink stop on Friday. Michael Ontiveros, 31, was shot and killed by someone from a nearby car.

Another man was also shot.

Police are still searching for the suspects.
