Man goes to North Patrol for help after being shot at north St. Louis gas pump

St. LOUIS ( KMOV.com)--A 39-year-old man pumping gas at a Mobile station in the 4900 block of Union in north St. Louis was shot Sunday night just before midnight.

Two male suspects approached the man flashing their guns and attempted to rob him. The victim jumped in his car to get away when one of the suspects fired shots, hitting the man in the stomach.   

The victim managed to make it to 4014 Union, the city's North Patrol, where he told officers that he was shot. The victim was then taken to the hospital for treatment and listed as stable. 

The investigation is ongoing.
