CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Clayton Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying a man who tried to steal a package off the porch of a house in Clayton.

Police said the package was left on the porch in the 200 block of Gay Ave on June 20.

On Wednesday morning, Clayton authorities said the man committed a burglary in the 300 block of N. Beminston Ave. and an attempted burglary in the 300 block of N. Central Ave.

The suspected thief is using a bike as his mode of transportation.
