It celebrates St. Patrick’s missionary journey from Britain to Ireland, his time in capture, and the spiritual revolution he brought to an entire country.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
