ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) - Christina Grady has performed with huge music acts like Lady Gaga, but has never lost touch with her hometown.

Grady, a St. Louis native and Oakville High School gradate, recently came back to town to teach a few dance classes.

“I’m an example that hard work pays off, I feel like I work harder now than ever,” Grady said.

Most recently she performed with Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl Halftime show in Houston and the Victoria Secret Fashion Show.

She’s worked with a long list of headlines like: P. Diddy, Mariah Carey, Nicki Manaj and many more.

Grady started a program called What It Takes where she teaches young dancers how to navigate the entertainment industry.

“It’s all the things I wish I would have been taught or told, but I had to learn the hard way,” said Grady.

She said while she now lives and works in L.A., St. Louis will always be home.

She has plans to host a 'What It Takes' event in St. Louis this fall and will be hosting a session in Chicago in May.
