CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – All lanes of eastbound Interstate 64 have reopened past Chesterfield Airport Road following a crash.

The lanes were closed before 5 a.m. after an SUV driving the wrong way on the interstate crashed with another vehicle. When the collision occurred, the driver of the SUV was ejected from the vehicle.

According to the Chesterfield Police Department, two men were taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The police department said they suspect alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.

The lanes reopened just after 8 a.m.
