Surveillance photos released of Subway robbery suspect

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect accused of robbing a Subway Friday.

After ordering and paying for food, the suspect reportedly pointed a knife at an employee in the 4230 block South Broadway around 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 24.

After pointing the knife at the employee, the suspect reportedly jumped onto the counter and ordered the employee to open the cash register. When the employee complied with the request, the suspect took the cash tray and ran from the area.

While running, the suspect removed the money from the tray and dropped the cash tray.

No one was injured.
