UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Several Muslim activists are raising money to help pay for repairs at a Jewish cemetery that was vandalized over the weekend.

Linda Sarsour and Tarek El-Messidi started a project on LaunchGood called Muslims Unite to Repair Jewish Cemetery.

The goal was to raise $20,000 to fund repairs at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery in University City, where vandals knocked over hundreds of tombstones. So far, more than $23,000 has been raised.

The Anti-Defamation League is also offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who has information that leads to an arrest in the case.
