FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The Franklin County prosecutor's office charged 50-year-old Bobby J. Fenner with unlawful possession of a weapon, second-degree domestic assault and third-degree domestic assault after a fistfight he had with his brother.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to a home in the 5700 block of Dry Branch Road on Tuesday for a reported disturbance. The sheriff's office said deputies discovered two brothers had been engaged in a fist fight and that one of them claimed Fenner assaulted him with brass knuckles and also hit him with a cane.

Deputies reported they recovered a pair of brass knuckles at the scene and took Fenner into custody. Missouri law, Section 571.020.1, states that it's illegal to possess, manufacture or sell "knuckles."

The sheriff's department said the victim wasn't seriously hurt.
