O'Fallon, Mo doctor accused of sexually assaulting 2 patients

O'FALLON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A doctor is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two patients in O’Fallon, Missouri.

Howard Setzer, 39, is charged with second-degree sexual abuse and second-degree attempted sodomy.

According to a news release from the O'Fallon Missouri Police Department, the incidents happened at Setzer's office on Progress Point Parkway.

Both patients came into Setzer's officer for back pain treatment when allegedly sexually assaulted them.

Howard is being held in the St. Charles County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Setzer's employer, Signature Medical Group, sent News 4 the following statement:

The physicians and staff at Mid-County Orthopaedic have a long history of providing excellent medical care and will certainly cooperate with any investigation by law enforcement.  We have not been contacted by law enforcement at this time and because of privacy laws, Signature certainly cannot speculate or comment on any patient matters.
