Boys ages 12, 13, 14 arrested following two week crime spree in Belleville

BELLEVILLE (KMOV.com) – Three juveniles have been arrested in connection to string of felonies in Belleville.

The police department said a 12-year-old, 13-year-old and 14-year-old were taken into custody after a two week crime spree, during which five purses were stolen.

The suspects allegedly stole purses that were sitting in shopping carts, on a dining table in a restaurant and on top of a vehicle. The crimes took place in the 100 block of Carlyle Avenue and the 2600 block of Green Mount Commons Drive.

The juveniles are also being investigated for two attempting burglaries and unrelated crimes, according to police.
