NEW ATHENS, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

A woman is being held in custody for allegedly causing damage to a local park on Saturday.

Police say they found a unoccupied 2004 Jeep stuck in the mud in the park. The Jeep had traveled through the park creating ruts and circles until it got stuck and could go no further.

Lisa Tyson, 35, from Collinsville, Ill.  owns the vehicle and authorities located Tyson on Monday.

The Park District estimated the park damage will cost about $500.00 to repair.

Tyson is charged with one felony count of Criminal Damage To State Supported Property.

Her bond is set at $30,000 and she is currently being held in St. Clair County Jail.
