ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- One week after the Women's March On Washington, thousands will be taking to the streets for the March For Life.

It's an annual pro-life rally in Washington D.C., and Wednesday night, bus loads of people are leaving from area churches.

A total of 38 buses carrying more than 2,100 people are headed to the nation’s capital, which is the largest group ever.

Many of the attendees are kids, and the Archdiocese says it's important to get them involved at a young age.

“If they want to continue to help them understand their faith, not just in a classroom but what it looks like lived and applied, sometimes you have to get outside the classroom in order to really grasp that,” said Youth Outreach Coordinator Brian Miller.

The buses are scheduled to leave around 7 p.m., after mass is held.
