ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Major League Soccer is promising St. Louis an All Star game if the current stadium plan passes.

A letter sent from MLS to Paul Edgerley, who is the Chairman of SCSTL, a group trying to bring a team to St. Louis, promises an All Star Game will played in St. Louis within five years of the team’s inaugural season.

The letter also said international soccer games could be played at the stadium.

A bill to help fund the stadium will be before the Board of Aldermen’s Ways and Means Committee on Thursday.
