KINLOCH (KMOV.com) -

A teenager has been charged with First Degree Murder, among other charges, in a fatal shooting case from July 2016.

Eric Porter, 17, of Berkeley, Mo., has also been charged with one count of Armed Criminal Action, and one count of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree.

The fatal shooting took place on July 21 of 2016. Police said Porter called another teen, 17 year-old Antoine Quinn. Porter, allegedly working with others, picked up Quinn, who was told the group would drive around and smoke marijuana.

Police said the group's actual intention for picking up Quinn was for revenge for a prior shooting, which involved Quinn.

When the vehicle entered the city of Kinloch, police said multiple people inside the vehicle fire several shots at Quinn, who was seated in the front seat. Gunshot wounds were sustained in Quinn's head, chest, back, legs, and abdomen.

Quinn was found in the front seat of the vehicle by responding police officers. He later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Porter and the other suspects fled the scene.

Police said the vehicle that Porter and the others were riding in was reported stolen on July 1. Porter has since been made admissions to the offenses to officers, police said.

Porter's bail has been set at $500,000 cash-only bond.
