NORMANDY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Three suspects are in custody and one is still on the run after leading Normandy police officers on a chase to a St. Louis campus overnight.

When officers were called for a burglary in progress at an apartment complex in the 7500 block of Florissant in Normandy they found a vehicle that was believed to be involved in the burglary.

The officers then following the vehicle to the University of Missouri-St. Louis Campus, where it went off the road and four suspects ran from the area.

While running from the vehicle, one of the suspects pointed an assault rifle at officers, according to police.

One of the suspects fell to the ground and was taken into custody. Two other suspects were later arrested and a fourth remains on the loose.

No shots were fired during the incident.

No information regarding the fourth suspect has been released.
