ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – An 18-year-old is accused of stabbing her grandmother in north St. Louis.
According to police, the suspect stabbed her 65-year-old grandmother with a knife after becoming irate with her inside a home in the 8600 block of Oxford Lane around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday.
After stabbing her grandmother, the suspect drove away from the area with her grandmother inside the vehicle.
The victim was found by a family member inside the vehicle in the 5900 block of West Florissant. She was taken to the hospital and listed as stable.
The suspect was arrested, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
