ST. PETERS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

St. Peters is offering to help certain residents who can’t keep up their properties.

The city is offering landscaping help to those who are disabled or older than 62.

Many cities fine residents if their lawn grows above a certain height.  Others charge a fee to mow lawns.

An 82-year-old Florissant woman was charged $190 when the city mowed.

St. Peters has received $2,000 from the federal government to help mow the lawn of nine residents eight times.
