Police searching for stolen vehicle in St. Louis City's first homicide case of 2017

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – St. Louis City’s first homicide of the year occurred on Jan. 10 in the JeffVanderLou neighborhood.

Police said Daikel Fletcher, 22, was shot multiple times in the 3200 block of Dodier just before 10 p.m.

The man was pronounced dead at the shooting scene.

Upon further investigation, police discovered the victim's vehicle was stolen from the scene.  The missing vehicle is a 2011 Dodge Charger with temporary license plates.  Police said it is possible the tag has been removed.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the vehicle is urged to call CrimeStoppers or police immediately.
