One suspect is in custody and two others are still being sought in the Christmas Day theft of multiple vehicles from Surdyke Motorsports Chesterfield.

The business reported multiple vehicles, parked side-by-side, were stolen in the heist. The dealer said the suspect vehicle was a white Ford Ranger with an extended cab.

Monday, detectives with the Chesterfield Police Department announced they had arrested David Willyard, 26, but were still searching for Jacob Willyard, 20, and Jess Stoneking, 30, in connection to the incident.

The detectives said the oldest Willyard was identified through an investigation and charged in Jefferson County with possession of stolen property. According to police, his arrest led to the recovery of 10 of the 11 stolen vehicles and additional property reported stolen from crimes outside of Chesterfield. Authorities report the total value of items recovered to be nearly $200,000.

The dealership's owner, Matt Surdyke, was offering a reward for the recovery of the stolen vehicles and the capture of the suspects.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the other two suspects is asked to contact Surdyke at 636-931-9166, or the Chesterfield Police Department at 314-889-2341.
