MILLSTADT, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A woman reported missing from St. Clair County was found dead New Year’s Day, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department.

Tracey Matthews Anticouni was reported missing Thursday around noon. According to a Facebook post by the St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency, Anticouni was found Sunday afternoon.

The family organized a search for Anticouni that was scheduled to start around 12 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Mullins Road in Millstadt. The agency’s Facebook post was made about an hour after the search began.

Her husband, Anthony, said she disappeared after a phone conversation with him, the Belleville News Democrat reported. The report claimed she had left everything behind including money, a coat and clothes.

In a Facebook post, Anthony said Tracey “suffers from severe PTSD and has not been of sound mind for a few days.”

The sheriff's department said they will conduct an autopsy, but there are no signs of foul play.
