NHL encouraging fans to arrive early for Winter Classic

Posted: Updated:

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The National Hockey League is reminding fans about traffic, parking and security matters for Monday’s Winter Classic.

The league is encouraging fans to arrive and enter Busch Stadium early to alleviate long security screening lines.

Anyone picking up will-call tickets can do so at the 8th Street ticket windows with a valid ID that matches the name on the tickets. The windows will be open December 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., December 31 from 9 a.m. to end of first intermission, January 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and January 2 from 9 a.m. until the end of the first intermission.

There are several parking garages near the stadium that will open at 7 a.m. throughout the weekend for fans to park in.

Any guest 3 years and older is required to have a ticket to attend both games. Anyone under the age of 3 may sit in a ticketed guest’s lap.

All items entering the stadium are subject to inspection. Noise makers, seat cushions larger than an inch thick or that include backs, selfie sticks, umbrellas, water bottles, fanny packs, banners and camera cases are among the items not allowed in the stadium.
