The Salvation Army is asking for your help with their traditional red kettles donations.

The organization says donations are down by $200,000 compared to last year.

“It has an impact on our ability to serve, it means we have to become more efficient, it means that maybe not as many  people get served, it means that some things just fall through the cracks,” said Lt. Col. Dan Jennings.

The organization provides assistance to some of the many victims of devastating floods that hit one year, as well as feeding and housing homeless for over 151 years.

Dec. 24 is the last day for the red kettles donations.
