PINE LAWN, Mo. (AP) - A follow-up to last summer's state audit that gave Pine Lawn's municipal court the lowest possible rating alleges the St. Louis suburb has made little improvement.

The latest audit released Monday by Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway shows the city has not paid $400,000 it likely owns the state for exceeding state limits on revenue it kept from traffic-related fines.

Galloway says she's unsure whether the failure to remedy the problems is because of the suburb's lack of concern or lack of ability.

The June audit also found the court assessed improper fees and had missing and incomplete records.

The city said then it either has made changes to problems cited in the audit, or will do so.

A message left Monday with Pine Lawn's municipal court administration wasn't immediately returned.
