ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) - After a bitter cold Sunday, temperatures are still falling across the metro area.

With clear skies tonight, very little wind, and a super dry air mass, temperatures are expected to drop to their coldest levels since February 2015, almost 2 years ago.

4Warn Meteorologist Kristen Cornett is predicting an overnight low of only 2 degrees. The good news is winds will not be an issue Monday morning so it probably not FEEL any colder than Sunday morning.

A warm-up begins Monday afternoon. A southerly breeze will drive temperatures into the mid 20s. Not exactly warm, but a huge jump from the morning temperatures. Expect to really start to feel the warm up by Tuesday when the highs are expected to be in the mid 40s.
