COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Mizzou’s plan to expand the South End Zone Facility Project continues to take shape.

The project is being developed for the south end zone at Faurot Field.

Initial fundraising for the project has been vital for the timeline of success. The project’s site total cost is an estimated $90 million to $100 million, which is an increase from the initial estimate of $75 million.

"The University of Missouri is one of the state's greatest assets, and projects like this have tremendous economic impact on our local and state economies," said Interim Chancellor Hank Foley.

The South End Zone Facility Project will offer premium amenities, including:
•    Field level club area
•    Private club with seating
•    Equipment and locker room
•    Team meeting rooms with virtual reality simulation

The public viewing area will also include an additional 5,000 seats closer to the field.
