As snow moves out, extreme cold moves in

ST. LOUIS  (KMOV.com) -- A Winter Weather Advisory expires at midnight tonight. 

Light snow is falling across the area and will come to an end around midnight or shortly thereafter.  Up to 1" of snow is expected. 

Although any snow is long gone by sunrise Sunday morning, watch for slick spots on sidewalks and driveways early as temperatures plunge into the single digits.  We expect a low of 7 for St. Louis Sunday morning, with a wind chill as cold as -10.  

Prepare for a Wind Chill Advisory north of St. Louis on Sunday morning when it's breezy and wind chill readings will range from -5 to -18. Highs will stay in the teens on Sunday. Wind chill readings will remain in the single digits all day, despite decreasing clouds.
