ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two teenagers were hospitalized after being shot in south St. Louis early Monday morning.

After being shot around 12:15 a.m. the duo went to the Courtesy Diner for help.

When emergency crews arrived at the diner, the teenagers provided differing accounts of the shooting. One of the victims said they were standing at the bus stop at South Kingshighway and Arsenal when a man exited a passing four-door sedan, asked them a question and began firing gunshots.

The second victim said they were in an alley when the shooting occurred.

The 19-year-old victim was shot in the arm and the 16-year-old was shot in the abdomen. Both are listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
