MASCOUTAH, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

A selfless act by a Metro East boy will mean a happier Christmas for kids affected by the wildfires in Tennessee.

Tabatha Schwartz’s nephew Matthew, 11, used his birthday money to buy presents for those affected by the wildfires in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He bought 33 gifts with the $200 he received.

He and his family plan to drive to Gatlinburg next week to deliver the toys.
