Alleged drunk driver crashes vehicle into tree, killing passenger

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man was killed while being a passenger in a vehicle that was being driven by an alleged drunk driver.

Around 12:25 a.m. Sunday, Michael Jeademann, 24, was pronounced dead when the vehicle he was a passenger in struck a tree off of Hillsboro Road and Meramec Station Road, police said.

The driver of the vehicle, Michaella Baker, 24, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and involuntary manslaughter.

The crash is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction Unit.
