The Illinois State Police have arrested one man in connection to the death of a child found behind a building in Olney, Ill.

On Nov. 23, News 4 reported that Sabrina Stauffenberg, 8, was found behind a building in Olney. She was reported missing earlier that day.

Glen R. Ramey was taken into custody for First Degree Murder and Predatory Sexual Assault.

ISP said the arrest of Ramsey was thanks to the collaborative effort of multiple agencies which worked as the Southern Illinois Child Death Task Force. Among those agencies were, but not limited to, the Flora Police Department, Salem Police Department, and the Centralia Police Department.

Ramey is held in the Richland County Jail pending a formal arraignment, ISP said.
